U9 - Autumn Gold Cup Winners
Under 9s winning the autumn gold cup which consists of 64 teams, the final was against Bromley Ravens v Bromleians and took place at the John fisher on Sunday 14-1.2018 our team Players Jayden musk, Stanley Moore , Tom Gibbs, Joseph picardo, Reggie Watson, Reece Ferlance,Edward Thomas ,Nicholas Theodorou, Jobie Johnson, Noah willicombe
The game was 0-0 at half time Eddie Thomas scored in the 11th minute of the second half and Bromley ravens equalised with 4 minutes to play, final score was 1-1 we were going to penalties ! Bromley ravens chose to take the first and our keeper Jayden made a superb save we scored the next 2, then Ravens scored 2 we scored the next and Ravens scored there 3rd penalty there 4th penalty was saved again by Jayden, Reggie Watson took our 4th and scored The cup was ours 4-3 on penalties I would like too say a big thanks to all parents and supporters for being there and Dan Ferlance for his great coaching Most of all the boys in the team as they were outstanding !!
Also thanks to all at the club as I don’t think a lot of us realise what work goes into making this small club so special 🏆
